Calm

Today I visited one of our sheltered housing schemes in order to carry out the managers appraisal. I love this scheme, it is built on the banks of this little tributory to the River Lark. Every time I visit this scheme I am transported to a place of calm. There's usually a couple of swans on the river but a bridge located just behind me was being repaired and the swans had moved further up river. I have also seen assorted geese, Jays, a variety of blue and great tits and a rather stunning woodpecker. The ducks gathered in great numbers obviously expecting a handout.

We were hoping to exchange on the new house today but it's been put back to Tuesday now and completion on the 9th. A bit disappointing but at least we feel we are making some progress. On the plus side it will give us another weekend for packing and cleaning!
