Our Street....

We have lived on this street for eleven years, it is a lovely friendly street, the picture doesn't really do it justice.
There have been some very happy moments and some sad ones
Very recently the town council decided it was time to re-surface it and renew all the yellow no parking lines so it looks all shiny and new,
It's very well placed in the town for all the local amenities and facilities
The neighbours all get together at christmas for a meal
Lots of the houses have recently been improved or extended
Several of us fitted new railings
We have seen quite a few changes in our time here
But earlier in the year we found a little bungalow with a longed for garden, garage and off road parking
It's taken a long time
But by next month we should have moved
