Tern

A trip out to Broughty Ferry again to sort some stuff out. The swans were nowhere to be seen but these terns were making the most of the free feeds that were to hand, At least a couple of kids came down with their parcels of stale bread while I was there. Needless to say the birds were unable to distinguish between these left overs and the warm pie another guy was munching as he walked along. He wasn't a happy chappie!

The crow who had worked out how to drop shells onto the ground was much more successful. He or she had worked out that, if you fly high enough and let go of the shell and then repeat the process, you can get at the juicy bits inside. Pity it was getting too dark to get a picture of this!
