Josiah Wedgwood

Yesterday we went on a fantastic and interesting tour of the Potteries, starting at Wedgwood and visiting several potteries, including Ainsley and Moorcroft, which was my favourite. This statue stands outside the Visitor Centre at the Wedgwood Pottery. Unfortunately, as with other factories, a lot of the china is now made abroad. Only specialist pieces are made in England.
