Temple Basin

A few sore heads this morning I think (not mine) and many late risers. One could forgive them, and it was still raining.

By mid morning most of the team was up, coffees consumed, and an expedition went off for a gentle walk up to Devils Punchbowl. Nice easy walk.

Then back for lunch by which time the weather had completely cleared. So off we went again, smaller group, bigger climb up to Temple Basin. With Adam in tow, and hangovers still being nursed I think, we made the trek in a little over an hour, in superb conditions, even some sunburn. A lie in the sun, frolic in the remaining snow, and then back down to yet another fabulous dinner.

Only a small group left, 9 of us in total, so a pool challenge was on. Needless to say that the enthusiasm for a big night was non-existent ;-)
