The Dudley Canal

A visit to see elderly relatives this morning involving a trip to the Merry Hill Shopping Centre - which is not really my scene! So I wandered off to the canal which is adjacent to the shopping centre. Once at the heart of the Industrial Revolution the canal is now a waterfront for an attractive business centre. Only one of the original buildings remain, a wharf which is now a Brewers Fayre Pub. There area few more on Flickr
