I am so rubbish!

I proposed yesterday without a ring or getting down on one knee.
I just said out loud what was going on in my head.
So much for the grand romantic gestures and ideas that I'd had.

And then tonight Laura said she was surprised I hadn't got a Haribo ring as a surprise today, until we go and choose one together.
Why didn't I think of that.
