Porcupine Ridge

N took us to Franschhoek in the wine lands today and the first winery we visited was Boekenhoutskloof where they make Porcupine Ridge wines. This sculpture on the terrace represents the Porcupine in sun bleached wood - very evocative.

We tasted a lot, had a long heavy lunch followed by a little light shopping and slept in the car all the way back to Cape Town!

A post prandial walk on Signal Hill and a sundowner on the terrace of the Twelve Apostles Hotel soon revived us ;-)
