Strelizia Regina

After a busy day of internal meetings, planning and reading it was too dark and grey for photos.

So I relied on this morning's precautionary blip of our bird of paradise plant. It was grown from seed nearly 30 years ago and has now found its spot to produce flower spikes. 4 on the go at the moment.

I'd hoped for a touch more brightness / sun but that was not on offer today at 7am.
