Angkor Wat

A 5am start this morning. We were out at Angor Wat by 5.30 to see the sunrise, hundreds of other tourists joined us in the quest for the perfect sunrise photo. (Unfortunately the sun did not co-operate and as daylight dawned we realised we could have enjoyed a few more hours of sleep). But what a magnificent site. Our guide explained the meaning of some of the elaborate bas-relief carvings….there is so much to see, we will go again later.
