Lily-of-the-valley bush

The creamy-white bell-shaped flowers on this Pieris japonica are just beautiful this year. In the background is a copper solar-powered lamp embedded in the same large pot which stands in a sheltered corner outside the back door. The flower stems are the same coppery colour. Native to the Far East, it makes a great addition to a patio as it is hardy, simple-to-care-for and grows well in either full shade or full sun.
