Midday Sun over the Southern Sound (2)
As mentioned earlier winter has returned. The southern sound has refrozen (-8C last night) and a few centimeters of new snow has fallen. However the spring equinox approaches and the sun is higher in the sky every day. Compare with this midwinter image of the same area. Now, when the sun breaks through it has real warmth.
Here's the south sound jetty, waiting for summer and the boats. A hopeful canine (dog? fox?) seems to have wandered to the end of the jetty and then thought better of it and returned the same way.
I seem to be building a collection of photos of, or from, this jetty - 5 so far.
