Basil

A long day at work and unfortunately no sunset on the way home just greyness and rain and very low light.

So here is Basil my cockatiel, I don't know how he has managed to get away with so little blipping. He is about 23 yrs old, I have had him from a baby. He is not the friendliest of birds but seemed to enjoy the attention when getting his photo taken, he did not mind the camera in the cage. He does not like to come out of his cage as he has always found flying difficult so for the past 10 years he elects not to come out, despite having the chance now and again.

Colour and lighting difficult, under artificial light , a yellowish bird and a yellow green kitchen proved very difficult. I think he is a subject I could work on.
