Street art

Took a quick walk round the block after lunch today and found some new street art in Banner Street (actually, I think the woman on the door's been there for a while, but the street football image is newer).

Noisy afternoon at work, with a demonstration (AKA an 'anti-fracking carnival') going on one street over. I kept thinking I may be able to get a few photos after work, but they seemed to have dispersed just before I got out this evening. Apparently they'd been targeting Shell Oil who they thought were 'hiding out' in the Royal Artillery complex. No idea if they were right or not, but they hung around a bloody long time if they weren't.

Yet more work had happened in our flat today - more window stripping and a bit of plastering, too. It's very exciting coming home to see what's been done each day. We measured up for a new radiator in our bedroom this evening. The excitement!
