Skyscrapers

I got off work today fairly sharp so I decided to take a little detour into the Old Town looking for a photo op. I haven't been down these closes in a while and I wasn't disappointed with the variety of opportunities for photo taking. I liked this shot because it felt like it could be in any number of cities in Europe (I think I've seen a street sort of like this in Barcelona), I like the yellow of the wall on the right and the red door high in the upper floors. It's amazing how high some of these building are from the ground floor. Supposedly Edinburgh was one of the first cities to construct buildings of this height in bid to make space for its inhabitants.
