Beautiful Baroque

My sister and I went to the symphony this evening and enjoyed another excellent performance by the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. An exceptional musician, Hai-Ye Ni, principal cellist of the acclaimed Philadelphia Orchestra, was the guest performer. Haydn's Cello Concerto No. 1 in C Major brought much applause!!

I had only my not-so-good phone camera with me, but managed a few shots of the orchestra before the concert started and as the musicians were leaving. (It is a given that no phones or photos are allowed during the performance.)

What a wonderful way to end the day...with beautiful baroque.
