Moon Shiver

This was almost a bed blip, but not quite. I took it at about 20 seconds past midnight. My best shot by far was taken at 23:59:28 so was 32 seconds too early for today's blip. A case of "premature observation". It got pretty chilly standing in the window, so I hopped back into bed, but the pictures then all showed the window frame.

The sky was fabulous, and the clouds were galloping past like racehorses. A couple of minutes later it looked like a stormy seascape with great waves wrapping around the moon. (Sorry Miss Southall for my mixed metaphors.) Who wants to go to the cinema when you can lie in bed and watch that.

And it's all done and dusted now. Well, the blip's done, but I've got to get dusting.

Oh, and I need a tripod. The reason that the moon is all wibbly wobbly is that my camera was hand-held.

Happy Thursday Blippers.
