A year ago I was flicking through a photography magazine when I saw a tiny article about Blip. I joined up - as I never stick at anything I never dreamt that I would post a photograph every day for a year. It seemed completely impossible.

It seems I finally stuck at something. Part of it was down to stubbornness and a bit of OCD. Most of it was down to the people I have met here, funny, clever, supportive, encouraging, talented, creative, loyal and positive people. Thank you every one of you. Thank you for putting up with endless photographs of the boating lake and the greyhound. Thank you for always being kind. Thank you for making me keep going. Thank you for ensuring I recorded a year of my life.

I want to dedicate this shot to every Blipper, even the ones no longer with us - Mimi, I think of you every single time I come here and I wish you had made your 365, and all the other 365s you and your family have missed out on.

My vital statistics tell me that this was my most popular shot. My own favourite was the white horse.

There has to be a tune - kinda says it all.
