March on the Mono - New Place to Visit

Challenged myself today to go somewhere I'd never been before.

Went to the Art in Healthcare Exhibition at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall. Didn't know properly what the place was about. Lots of mini studios for artists to hire, various classes and workshops. And also got more info about Art in Healthcare also based there.

The Exhibition was a few examples of artwork donated to them but mainly artwork from people that have benefited thru Art in Healthcare's outreach projects in hospitals, schools, hospices, day centres and care facilities. Other stuff they do is record photos and artists info of artwork in Hospitals and also set up artwork in these settings.

I near fell on the floor as there was a photo of 2 hands drawing and the green jumper and checked shirt made me think of Dad as he had been in the Royal Victoria Building, but no name on it. Maybe wishful thinking.

Enjoyed my lovely - fresh out the oven - flapjack and peppermint tea out of the cafe there.

Well worth investigating again.
