March on the Mono - more leaf buds

Out to the garden to rescue flowers damaged, blown over or eaten by beasties.

The rain and the wind daffodils are usually quite resiliant, but the hailstones just added to the bendings stems.

Nevermind, a small bouquet of the best survivors heading to meet MLJ for tea and chat this afternoon. The rest of the sad ones and munched ones in the kitchen and bathroom vases.

Blip of the leaf buds of the Japanese Maple Tree in the garden. I got quite excited as it looks like its going to blossom too for the first time.

Couldn't decide best for this Blip but didn't do the usual of adding contrast and brightness, instead opted for major minus of contrast and add a little brightness.
