Reflections in the city.

St Paul's Cathedral reflected in One New Change shopping centre in the City of London. Mum was visiting for the weekend and we had a great day - a wander through the City to the Museum of London and a visit to the Cheapside Hoard exhibition about an amazing collection of jewellery from about 1640 which was discovered buried in a nearby basement during building work in 1912. Beautiful and fascinating. Then lunch out in the sun at the Barbican centre.

Ended the day by collecting D early from nursery and took a ride on a "funny bus" as he calls them - new style routemaster with a window running diagonally up the stairs and stairs at the front and back - followed by a stroll along the Thames. The weather was beautiful and the day full of 'I love this city' moments!
