Midnight moon
I was in Belfast this evening for a play (Portrait of the Artist as a Young Boy - probably totally wasted on me!) and on my way home I decided to nip to the supermarket. As I drove along the Lough I spotted the moon looking huge and as orange as I've seen in a long long time. So I did a very rapid U-turn back to the house to pick up my camera, then raced back to the coast to get this shot. By the time I got to the supermarket the moon was back to its normal size and colour, so I feel lucky to have caught it. And 2 mins before midnight so good for today's blip. Gotta love optics.
