Wedding bands are hit and miss, and when they miss they really really miss. A middle aged man with a Casio keyboard playing the Birdie Song and shouting at a table of elderly disabled people to "get up on the dancefloor and don't be so lazy" comes to mind...

So when I find myself at a reception with a good one it's like Christmas has come. This evening's band were The Gents, and they were really excellent, the dancefloor was packed all night which makes my job a lot easier. This was their first night trying out their new lighting system, I quite like it :)
