Morning Magnolia

I am so enjoying watching the progress of my Magnolia. Five years ago, when I visited the house for a second viewing and was wondering whether I should go ahead, I think it was this stunning tree that nudged me. I haven't regretted my decision.

I have a busy day (off on a Bridge course in Lytham St Annes) and will be setting off shortly. The morning light was catching one of the open blooms and I couldn't resist. The photo gives no idea of how chilly it is at the moment !
