2nd day of Spring, now that's more like it.

Although yesterday was officially the 1st day of Spring it certainly didn't look or feel like it here in Lancashire.
Today however is a totally different picture.

For those of you who saw my Blip yesterday I mentioned about needing to collect some river stones on which I can grow algae for OTO my algae eating catfish.

The weather leaving work today was so much nicer so I put on my wellies and went to collect a few stones out of the river Lostock.

Walking through the fields on the way back I saw this tree with these spring catkins and thought they would make a good macro shot.
