Important Envelope

Came home from work looking forward to watching the first GP of the season. Managed to go the entire day without finding out who won.
When we got back this letter was waiting for us. The excitement / concern. What was it all about? Had we been chosen for something special or was it an invite to the Tower?
Turned out to be a letter from our MP to let us know that the Post Office is looking to shut the main branch in the centre of town. Not great for us as its only a 5 minute walk from the house and quite a few of our letters / parcels are delivered there if we are not in.
Quickly cooked some tea and settled down to watch the race. What a race it was. J had heard that there was a steward’s enquiry afterwards so we had to check it out after the race.
Looking forward to the rest of the season if it’s going to be as good as this one.
