March on the Mono - Holycross's Cross

Out via Baynes Bakers for picnic stuff and into Davidson's Mains. I wanted to get a picture of the church with the cross of daffodils in front. Then decided to walk around the back and found this wooden cross which stood out so well against the brickwork. Never been in although have been in the church hall many times younger.

Then into Lauriston Castle grounds for more pictures and my picnic, glad of the flask though, still quite a chilly wind. Lots of wee ones having a party and running about. More orange cones than anything else.

Increase contrast and sharpness.
