the last rosebud

for this year, anyway. i left it because it's too pretty not to, and the bits of the plant i pruned have started to regrow anyway, so no point chopping off the pretty to make it hiberate! an odd year for plants and gardens. (and tho you can't see it, this little beauty is all over greenfly at the base - where did they come from??? *tch*)
