Devil's Dyke
It was a very good concert last night . The violoncello was an intriguing instrument, played under the chin with a strap around the neck, it had 5 strings and sounded a bit deeper than a violin!
Today I took my parents out to celebrate their 63 Wedding Anniversary. We also drove up to Devil's Dyke, a legendary beauty spot on the South Downs in Sussex. It's the longest, widest and deepest 'dry Valley' in the UK and legend has it that the Devil dug the chasm to drown the parishioners of the Weald!
