Mime Performance

What is she miming? Only herself, what else? I was gazing up at a bright, sun-dazzled hoarding, crossed by gulls and their shadows (an interval of sunlight in a rain and hail-pelted day), when I looked down and saw her. Almost every child is, of course, a natural. And of course, like many street photographers, I am wary of photographing other peoples' children, but I thought I saw her mother smiling behind her so I shot a few frames. Afterwards I went into the shop and gave the woman (who was her mother after all) my card. She wasn't in the least put out; a refreshing lack of paranoia.
