Sperm Whale

What a great day of sunshine, bit chilly when in the wind but by no means anything to complain about until the showers came in after tea.

I had my niece Elise staying over last night, so I was up early this morning and clothes out on the line. My friend Brian came along and we decided to head to Unst for the day to see his cousins and my sister and family. I got roped into walking for Sports Relief too :)

While we were in Unst, we went to see the dead whales washed up. Two massive Sperm Whales washed in dead to the same beach. Wonder how it happened and what is the chances of two on the same beach! Such a shame for these beautiful animals. This is one of them, taken at Muness, Unst.
