What's In a Name?
Clover pink red clover, Trifolium pratense. Introduced to New Zealand for pasture and a green manure crop it is now naturalised and can be found in all sorts of places. The florets are too deep for honeybees to fertilise and so bumblebees were introduced to New Zealand to fertilise the red clover.
Many medicinal uses are attributed to it, but Wiki has a number of warnings and contraindications.
