Camouflage

So, went out for an early morning stroll around the village and surrounding countryside this morning, hoping to track down the odd red kite that was up for having its picture taken. There were indeed not only red kites but two grey herons chasing each other about. However, they were all in an evasive mood.....keeping well out of range until I left whichever spot I was loitering around....and then of course they appeared right over it as I looked on from what was now a distance away!!!!

So I decided to hide in the hedgerows....unsuccessfully I might add! However, I did spot this little chap who was hiding very effectively...right in front of me!
