Sunday Sun

Lovely day today so spent the morning in the garden on the first big tidy up of the year. It was hard going though-the ground is still heavy with all the rain we've had.

I stopped to try and take a picture of the two robins that seemed to be interested in the ground we were digging, but they were too fast for me. Looked up and this is what I saw, so I started singing, that old song, beautifully sung by Ella Fitzgerald.

Blue skies
Smiling at me
Nothing but blue skies
Do I see

Bluebirds
Singing a song
Nothing but bluebirds
All day long

Never saw the sun shining so bright
Never saw things going so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When you're in love, my how they fly

Blue days
All of them gone
Nothing but blue skies
From now on

I never saw the sun shining so bright
Never saw things going so right
Noticing the days hurrying by
When you're in love, my how they fly

Blue days
All of them gone
Nothing but blue skies
From now on
