Day

A day of hair and chickens. First a haircut in Penicuik while Megan was at her lifesaving; followed by purchase of hay & straw from the Adams' farm; culminating in coffee and cake at the Community Arts Café where I also engaged in some spreadsheet tedium.

The afternoon saw me resurrecting the electric fence around the chickens in the orchard. We don't want them foxed again, but I haven't had time to sort out the electric strands atop the wall yet, so hopefully they'll last till next weekend. The Buff Orpington by the house has survived well enough the past fortnight.
