Sunlight!

On the Island today after a great sail across the Strait of Georgia yesterday bringing Pas de Deux back home to the Gulf Islands. A brisk 18 knot SE wind and our sails set to a perfect close reach to beam heading for Active Pass. We fairly flew taking only about 1.5 hours from Sandheads to Active Pass. 12 miles! Threading our way through 2 tankers and 2 ferries and a commercial carrier ferry with more vessels on the horizon. Great sail. Not so happy with all the BIG boat traffic. Anyway, we're home and happy and although cold, it was lovely to sail. Too tired yesterday though to blip and too busy underway to think of my camera! ;-)
