Walking...

Not sure why I am so drawn to this image. I watched this couple walk arm in arm. I was standing on an overpass and they paused at several store fronts before they turned the corner. Love the sentiment here.

As I write this I am reminded of a line "walking makes the road." It is from a book called Woman of the Way written about the experiences of women on the Camino. This is attributed to a poet Antonio Machado. I have not looked him up yet. He says..."by walking the road is made..." that is what these two are doing and likely have done for a very long time. They are making their road.
