A church is more than just timber and stone

I have many many images of Tewkesbury Abbey, but they are mostly close-up images of decayed stone and plaster, and 'conservation in action' shots up high in the scaffold as we dodged the swifts raining cherry pips and the peregrine raining swifts....

Today was a show-and-tell for a bunch of architects at the Abbey, followed by a jaunt to another church to price some works, then back to yet ANOTHER church to look at a War Memorial.

To ring the changes, tomorrow I am going to look at.....a church.....
