Spring's Springing

A beautiful blue sky all day which was temping me out, but with a busy diary the rest of the week I managed to resist and get some jobs done at home. Mostly that involved sitting in the sunshine in the warmth of the dining room sewing, so not so bad really. An excuse of my promise of a new lego figure for J yesterday got me out of the house this afternoon and taking the scenic route to Shipley through Northcliffe Park. There are plenty of daffodils out and the trees are just beginning to show new life.

Swimming lesson time after school and we were there very early so the children ended up swimming for nearly an hour and a half. Back home for a late tea and then straight off to bed and very quickly asleep, C, in her exhausted state, head down off the side of the bed.
