The Sun Goes Down

The day started early for me but then again it always does up and away for 5am the temperature matched the time albeit on the minus side of the scale, a hard frost, a lost glove and chilly digits never a good start. As the days start to stretch so too the colours return to the sky, blue skies, golden hues, with pinks as the sun dipped away.

As I enjoyed the chill of the evening I reflected on another day gone, another day closer to walking with my friend, it has been a long time since we last walked together and I have to admit it is one of my favourite things, I am sure there are those that think me slightly mad but honestly the simple pleasures are the best, the realisation that the small things really arent that small at all but the big things....

Looking back at some of the recent entries they have been grey, maybe like my mood but today a little colour, lifted like my mood, I hope you enjoy the little colour today and let us see what tomorrow brings but whatever it does bring it will always be another day closer...
