Cow parsley

Anthriscus sylvestris. When I started this journal just over a month ago there was no sign of this plant. It's now growing happily in many spots along the edge of the lane - these leaves were over 6 inches tall - and I guessing we may have flowers in another month.
Found a recipe for Sweet Pickled Cow Parsley Stems on the web, accompanied with a warning not to mix it up with the deadly Hemlock plant...
