Ross Fountain
Ross Fountain in Princes Street Gardens, easily the second most photographed thing in Edinburgh after (or rather, usually including) the castle, is a French monument. It looks super weird and off in an almost all-gothic and dark-stony city, because of its color, and more so because of the naked babies theme.
Because where do they make sculptures of naked babies? Right, in France. That is where it was made before it was shipped in a hundred and something pieces. Doesn't that sound a bit like a 19th century French version of Ikea?
