Pretty Garden

This was a very pretty garden in Lorsch, near a world heritage site where a monastery is being restored. We thought the garden was more interesting than the restoration at the moment ! They have an awful lot to do - but then again, I am sure they have been given an awful lot of money to do it. Religion has a lot to answer for - from many of thousand years ago up until the present time. It just eats money !!

We then went off to another place where we had a lovely walk, saw how the aristocracy used to live and play in their summer houses and had a lovely view of another Schloss up on top of a hill. There was even an English landscape - which looked just like England :)

A quiet day, no other tourists, and just full of 'mooching' about....
