Sun again

I woke to a strange sound today. Not so strange perhaps for anyone who lives in a wetter climate, but we have had hardly any rain since October. This morning it rained for at least two hours. By the time I went out the strong north wind had blown all the clouds away, leaving a lovely clear winter day.

This is the largest of the fountains in the village, with the war memorial in the centre. It's across the main road from the one I blipped some weeks ago - here. I liked the way the water had returned some of the fallen leaves to the top of the (reflection of the) plane tree.
