Second-floor balconies through a locked gate. This is one of the large houses on the main road, built in the early twentieth century. Sadly, the shutters on this one are closed and the house seems to be empty. In LARGE you can see the mouldings of lyres under the eaves.

Out in the cold to buy clams from the coquillage van to cook for friends who are coming to supper tonight. The coquillage man said that even salt water was freezing early this morning in Bouzigues, so it must have been minus 6 during the night. Sunshine here doesn't always mean warm temperatures!
