Waiting to cross

After yesterday's excitement, today was very ordinary. Shopping took me to both sides of the Schinkel canal where there was a bit of a wait to cross as the lift bridge was in the final stages of being lowered.

In October, I was on the other side of the canal taking photos when the bridge was raised.
