Why?..

I'm closing my account with Santander account. I was quite happy when it was Midland bank. I was quite happy when it changed to HSBC. But I've never liked Santander. And I can't explain why.

Today I received a letter containing two sheets of A4 paper. The second sheet had relevant information about my account changeover, but the first sheet had my address, and the following sentence.

"Please find enclosed a letter providing you with information about your Santander UK account." Now why did they need to include a sheet of paper with a message telling me there was another sheet of paper included?

I'm even more pleased that I'm changing it now..

Been quite a nice day again, and been potting up more parsley plants, clearing out the cold frame to fill with the parsley I potted up a couple of weeks ago. Tidied the bed by the tunnel. I plant this with a flower rich display to attract pollinating insects, with the hope that they'll find their way inside the tunnel too.

Did a financial report for the Development company, as we had a meeting tonight, which went quite well, even though the chairman and another member were out on a fire call. It's thought to be a heather fire got out of control..
