A sad farewell
Went out this morning to see Kat and Dave (above) for one final time. They fly out to lands far away this evening. It was lovely to see them and I'm so happy for them to be heading off on a new adventure but at the same time, it was very sad to see them go.
Kat is an amazing person, she's been a fantastic friend to me and a complete inspiration. I love her lots, will miss her dearly but wish her and her boy all the happiness in the world for their travels.
In other news:
Headed to Leith to do some errands, stole some love from the ferrets as no one was in at the old flat, and found a christmas tree. I think it's within my height limit but I haven't checked. It has a pot so won't drop all it's needles which is an added bonus. Tonight I will be turning the (still unfurnished) flat in to a Christmas wonderland.
