Evening talk

Tonight I went back to town with a friend to listen to an illustrated talk about about South Georgia and the Falklands. It included some shots of Antarctica and some other South Atlantic islands, but it was really just a very light reminiscence of some wildlife cruises that the speaker had taken sever years ago. There were a couple local men in the audience who were ex-whalers and who had lived on South Georgia in the last years, and it would have been nice to hear from them too, but they didn't really get an opportunity to share their stories with us - a chance missed.
