Taupo Streetscape

Liked this street scape. A tree with its yellow leaves (initially I thought it was a Kowhai ) and the flower bed below in the middle of a wide spacious street heading to the lake. The lake side was decidedly cool with the Southerly blowing straight at the town. We were told of, and found a warm part of the lake near the petrol station where there are several natural hot water outlets. May swim there if its not so windy. Taupo can be quiet apart from the holiday season.
Wandered around Taupo township today. Coffee, galleries, lunch and some shopping. Thrilled with my new possum merino jersey, its so soft and so warm.
